Victoria came to yoga as a supplement to her love for outdoor activities. Doubtful yoga would provide the same physical results, she found it delivered them along with a new found connection to body awareness and mindfulness. Eventually, yoga lured her by teaching stillness in movement, challenging her to live with intention and asking the wandering mind to be present through each breath.

She hopes to motivate others who are skeptical of the practice and break misconceptions of what yoga is or is not. She believes you don't have to be strong, flexible or athletic, but simply arrive with openness to explore something new. You'll find her classes to be challenging and fun with a strong emphasis on synchronizing movement with the breath. Expect to build full-body strength, learn alignment and leave with mental clarity from her classes.

Clara first started practicing yoga in 2014, after moving to Washington, DC for her first full-time job. Adjusting to the pace of professional life in a big city was a challenge, and yoga became a peaceful refuge for her.

Clara completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2017. Her goal is for every person to feel included and supported in her class.

In her classes, students are led through a moderately paced series of postures with opportunity to adjust the shapes she suggests in ways that will best serve them. She is influenced by her years of practice in vinyasa, ashtanga, and yin styles. She shares gratitude with her students both on and off the mat.

Shauna made her way back to yoga after a car accident injured her neck and back in 2008. This rediscovery of yoga helped heal her physically and change her mental approach and attitude to life. Shauna completed her 250-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher’s Training in 2012 at Ashtanga Yoga Montreal and has studied various forms of yoga from teachers around the world. Recently, she has focused more intently on the study and practice of Iyengar yoga.

In her teaching, she draws inspiration from Iyengar Yoga and focuses heavily on alignment & breath awareness. She encourages students to cultivate connection in the body and mind, and how our individual practices help us connect better to the world around us.

It is her mission to share the healing power of self-exploration and self-actualization by journeying inward with her loved ones and community.

Brendan came to yoga as a form of stress release during a heavy bout of exams in high school. The practice opened him to a deeper connection with breath and body movements and allowed him to feel empowered during stressful portions of his life.

He continues to practice as a way of building strength and resolve during difficult times. Brendan has a playful and energetic approach to the practice offering options at each phase of the class and allowing students to challenge their existing beliefs around capability.
