A morning or day of silence

Silence offers opportunities for self-reflection and daydreaming, which activates multiple parts of the brain.

Every morning if you are quiet for 30 mins, it helps you to…

  • Feel much lighter, like a feather

Try to spend 30 mins in a quiet place. Keep your smartphone away. Distance yourself from television. Disconnect from the external world. Be silent and water the plant or go for a quick walk or you gaze through your bedroom window and watch the sky.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. It’s usually practiced lying down with a teacher guiding the session. 

The practice draws our attention inwards, and we learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium – homeostasis – the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.
